DANCE50 is the chart show for modern club, dance and pop hits with strong radio potential. What makes the format special is that all chart positions are seamlessly mixed together, creating a dynamic, high-quality show that is perfect for weekend evening or late-night programming, as well as “Disco Drive Time” slots.
The DANCE50 editorial team consistently ensures that only radio-friendly tracks with a dance-oriented sound are included in the format. Hardstyle and other productions that are clearly unsuitable for radio airplay are not accepted.
In selected cases, viral tracks may also be considered if they are relevant to the target audience. These songs are then professionally edited to fit the format—for example, by focusing on the most distinctive hook.
DANCE50 is one of Europe’s largest and most unique chart shows. The charts are based on votes from around 1,000 DJs across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, combining genuine club relevance with strong radio appeal.
